Plans for summer trip

Day 1:  Mon. July 29

Arrival and very tired.

Day 2:

Local, maybe canoe, walks, rest up. 


Day 3:

You all need comfortable walking shoes that fit well!  You'll do a lot of walking!

Day 4 & 5: 

Long but pretty drive to Inverness to spend two nights and meet up with your step-family - Danny's daughter, her husband, and their son.

On the way we'll drive through Glencoe

Day 6:

Drive home.

Day 7:

Boat trip on Loch Lomond if the weather is nice.  


Day 8:  

Grandad will take the rental car back to the airport and the rest of us will go to Inveraray to see the castle and the old jail and courtrooms.






















Day 9 and 10:

Take the ferry and train into the city of Glasgow.  We will stay at a hotel for 2 nights.

There will be some dinosaurs for Allyson in a Glasgow museum and in an Edinburgh museum.

We will spend the second day in Edinburgh (going by train).

Edinburgh is a nice and very old town and good to walk around in.
